This Privacy Policy explains how Synker ("Synker", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, registration forms, and payment pages located at synker.ai (the "Services"). If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
- Information you provide: name, email, phone, school and athletic details submitted through our Google Forms registration, and any messages you send us.
- Payment information: payments are processed by PayPal. We receive confirmation of payment status (e.g., success/amount) but do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage data: basic technical data sent by your browser (e.g., IP address, device type, pages viewed). If we enable analytics or cookies in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.
- Media & performance data: in connection with showcases, we may collect player videos, times, and metrics (e.g., Rapsodo, Trackman, laser 60) that you or your guardian consent to provide.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate and improve the Services and event operations.
- To create player profiles, scouting summaries, and share highlights when you opt in.
- To communicate with you about registrations, schedules, payments, and updates.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. How We Share Information
- Service providers: vendors such as Google (Forms) and PayPal (payments).
- Recruiters/scouts/teams: if you opt in, we may share showcase-related performance data or media for recruiting exposure.
- Legal/Compliance: to comply with the law, protect rights, or respond to lawful requests.
- We do not sell personal information.
4. Cookies & Analytics
Our site currently has minimal tracking. If we later add cookies or analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), we will update this policy and provide choices where required.
5. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with laws, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may retain showcase statistics and media for historical and recruiting purposes where you have consented.

8. Children & Student Information
Our Services are intended for parents/guardians registering student-athletes. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a minor provided information without consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to our Services. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. International Users
Our Services are operated in the United States. If you access them from outside the U.S., you consent to the processing and transfer of your information in the U.S.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Effective date" and will be posted at this URL.
